Terms & Conditions 2023-07-24

These Terms & Conditions applies to all registrations from 2023-07-24. The Terms & Conditions dated 2020-07-10 apply for registrations before this date. Changes in summary: No substantial change, only minor language updates.

Study Circle

Dansarna.se courses are Study Circles in collaboration with SENSUS Study Association. You must provide a Swedish "personnummer" or LMA number according to the rules common to all study associations in Sweden. This information is not stored by Dansarna.se but inputted directly to SENSUS to manage and report the study circle. The information is managed according to GDPR.

Registration

After registering you will receive a confirmation letter sent to the e-mail address you provided.

Events/Courses may have a minimum and a maximum number of participants. Some events/courses also require a balance between leaders and followers. Therefore your registration may be placed on a waiting list before being approved. You will receive regular waiting-list status updates and can always inquire about your status by contacting info@dansarna.se.

After your registration has been approved, you will receive an additional e-mail including payment information.

By registering, you enter an agreement with Dansarna.se so please make sure you understand the terms and conditions fully. If you have questions about an event, course level etc., please get in touch with the instructor or info@dansarna.se before registering.

Cancellation Policy (within 14 days from registration) according to Swedish Law

By registering online for a course or an event organized by Dansarna.se, you will enter an agreement with Dansarna.se. According to Swedish law, you can change your mind and cancel your registration within 14 days. If so, you must notify Dansarna.se of your decision to cancel in writing to info@dansarna.se. Please state your full name and the registration ID of the course/event you are cancelling. If you have already paid the fee, please provide your bank account information so we can refund you.

If the course/event has not started at the time of your cancellation, you will receive a full refund of the fee.
If the course/event has already started when you cancel, then you need to pay for the part of the course/event that has already taken place but with a minimum amount of 200 SEK. Dansarna.se will let you know the amount you will be refunded or if you have not paid the amount you must pay.

Extended Cancellation Policy (after 14 days from registration)

If you decide to cancel your registration before it has been approved, please contact Dansarna.se by email at info@dansarna.se, and you will receive a full refund if you already paid.

If your registration has been approved and you want to cancel it, you must notify Dansarna.se of your decision to drop out by email to info@dansarna.se. Please state your full name and the registration ID of the course/event you are cancelling. If you have already paid the fee, please provide your bank account information so we can refund you.

If the course/event has not started at the time of your cancellation, you will pay an administrative fee of 10% of the original course/event fee but with a minimum of 200 SEK. If you already paid, the remainder will be refunded.
If the course/event has already started and you do not have a valid reason for cancellation (see below), you will not receive any refund, and you are obliged to pay the full course/event fee.

Valid reasons for cancellation are unforeseen events such as illness (documented), relocation from the area, etc. Contact info@dansarna.se with details. If there is a documented valid reason for cancellation, you will only pay for the part of the course/event you have already attended but a minimum of 200 SEK. The remainder will be refunded.

Course/Event Cancellation

If the course/event is cancelled for any normal reason you will be notified as soon as possible and receive a full refund.

If a course/dance event due to extraordinary circumstances Force Majeure (such as labour dispute, war, government decision, government intervention, strike, lockout, flood, serious accident, blockade, fire, environmental disaster, pandemic or other circumstances outside of the Dansarna.se control and which prevents us from fulfilling our obligations) must be cancelled, Dansarna.se reserves the right to retain 50% of the entire registration fee. If the course has already started, then Dansarna.se keep 50% of the remaining dance lessons fee.

If Dansarna.se offers a change of event/course you can request such change and will get the same registration date as your original registration. This date is used to calculate the position on waiting lists, discounts for early registration etc. Dansarna.se will try to accommodate all requests for changes but can make no guarantees.

Payment

All payments must be made before the start of the event/course! Always notify your instructor if you can not attend a lesson.

By accepting Dansarna.se Terms and Conditions you are obliged to pay course/event feed and fees for cancellation as outlined herein.

Personal Data Act (PUL)

To simplify the administration of events, we store the information you provide when registering and to which event you register.

Dansarna.se Newsletter is published 6-8 times per year. If you do not want to continue receiving the newsletter simply follow the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter email to unsubscribe. You will not receive any further Newsletters.
