Csilla is a joyful, passionate dancer and West African dance instructor. She has been studying dance from local teachers in Gambia, Africa and among others attended dance lessons of Ousmane Camara, a dancer from the African Ballet of Guinée. She started to dance as a child and tried different dance styles such as jazzballet, contemporary dance and capoeira. She has always been interested in the cultural heritage of ethnical groups and came in contact with the West African music and dance tradition in 2011. Since then she has been working together with Gabriel - the solo drummer at her dance classes -, first as a drummer and the last years as a dance instructor. Together with Gabriel they created the group Digambara Foré which is in cocreation with the swedish and international groups Periódica and Makwena, sharing the joy of making music, dancing and singing.
